THE FLIGHT OF IRO & CASPER (2015)
What would you do if you came across an imposter in the mirror instead of yourself?
GENRE: SI-FI / BLACK COMEDY
PRODUCED BY PAUL HERBERT
WRITTEN & DIRECTED BY PAUL HERBERT
Casper has found his dream girl, but she lives in an unreachable world: the inside of a large mirror in a warehouse. His only hope of reaching the mysterious Iro lies on the fringes of modern science. Can one man’s love join together two parallel universes? He soon learns from an expert that there is more to Iro than meets the eye and that she is arguably a real person, not just a figment of Casper's imagination. This leads Casper onto a journey into the realms of the unreal to find out who this female impostor really is.
The Flight of Iro and Casper has had festival screenings in the USA, Malta, Italy and Israel, where the film won the Best Short Film award at the Near Nazareth Festival. It’s also earned another thirteen nominations at international film competitions, and it’s still under submission for further events.
